Deki Hade Hizbi was founded in April 2023 by a group of young Eritrean adults who recognized the gradual division within our once close-knit community as we grew older. Through hosting cultural events, we create spaces for the youth to come together, celebrate our heritage, and forge a united community.

Each year, we focus on a different charitable project. In our first year, we successfully raised a total of $9,100 and 136,500 Nakfa for the Eritrean Orphanage in Asmara. In 2024, our goal is to support Halibet Hospital by providing much-needed medical equipment.
